As the new owners of the Ashland
Mountain House, John and Kathy Loram are happy to welcome
guests to this special place. Though new to the hospitality trade, we’re
settled residents of the Rogue Valley, in our fourteenth year here.
John is a veteran of the high tech industry, with a career
in computers and instrumentation behind him and two patents to his credit. Kathy is a writer who
co-authored a popular psychology book then turned to technical writing. With our
wonderful kids having grown up and left home, we were looking for a new
adventure and found it in this property.
Now that the lengthy house renovation process is complete, John is
pursuing his interest in aviation as a flight instructor and aircraft home-builder. Kathy is
focusing on the gardens and restoring the property as a wildlife
habitat. Both of us hope you'll join us here, to share this memorable place.
