Hereabouts: Our Setting

We're situated on the old California/Oregon Trail, which has become a favorite cycling route (shown here during a special summer event).
Half a mile away is Emigrant Lake, an 800-acre park that's wonderful for hiking, birding, and water sports. Across from us is a beloved u-pick blueberry patch. Delicious!
